SABOR's Charities of Choice
SABOR members have long been champions of the community and many serve with their preferred charities throughout the year. SABOR maintains two Charities of Choice, SAMMinistries and the San Antonio Food Bank, in an effort to make focused contributions on behalf of the REALTOR® community in the San Antonio and surrounding areas.
SAMMinistries
SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing and services.
SABOR initiatives have included school uniform drives, food drives, holiday gift-giving and pictures with Santa, preparing dinner, clean up days and more.
San Antonio Food Bank
The mission of the San Antonio Food Bank is to fight hunger in Southwest Texas through food distribution, programs, education, and advocacy.
SABOR initiatives include numerous food drives throughout the year, sorting and packing items in the warehouse, preparing and distributing meals from local community kitchens, and helping tend the community garden.
